SSD Disks: Computing At Higher Speeds r1

The term “SSD” stands for Soid State Drive. The Solid State Drive disks or the SSD’s have supposed a revolution in the modern computing.
Installing an SSD disk on a computer vastly improves the OS (Operating System) startup and loading times.
The loading speed is not the only advantage of the SSD’s versus HDD’s. An SSD disk doesn’t have any physically moving parts. The absence of any physically moving parts transaltes in higher shock resistnace and less noise while operating.
The HDD’s are vastly known for their characteristic operating noise, an issue that the SSD’s have completely solved.
The HDD’s are also known for their low shock resistance. An SSD disk has a higher shock resistance so it’s more suitable for portable devices.
