For producing rap we use Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (usb audio interface) and we also use midi pads Korg Nanopad 2 because it’s a good midi controller for creating rap beats.
Right now I’m using studio monitors m-audio but a lot of people tell me to use the KRK studio monitors.
Also we use DAW Ableton Live for creating our rap tracks.
