The WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been arrested in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. The arrest was carried out because Ecuador has withdrawn Assange’s political asylum.

Julian Assange has been living inside the Ecuadorian embassy since July 2012 to protect himself from the extradition to Sweden. Swedish government was demanding Julian’s extradition because of a supposed sexual crime.

The Ecuadorian embassy has retracted Assange’s diplomatic asylum due to his supposed “violations of international conventions”, as stated by Ecuadorian presidential office.

This Thursday, April 11 2019 the British police officers have taken Julian Assange by force out of the Ecuadorian embassy in London and have put him in a police van. Everything was filmed by cameras and there are video footages available on internet.

One Day Before The WikiLeaks Portal Warned Of Jualian’s Risky Situation

On Wednesday, April 10 2019 the WikiLeaks portal declared that Julian Assange could be a victim of a “sophisticated spy operation” in the Ecuadorian London embassy where previously some suspicious activities involving attorneys and medical personnel took place and were filmed on camera. The WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Kristinn Hrafnsson has stated that he met a person in Spain who showed him those videos and a copy of a legal document that was left in the Ecuadorian embassy.
